Established in 1985, we are a specialist school for dyslexic children in Years 3-11 where all children participate on a level playing field with their dyslexic peers. Children are taught strategies to enable them to understand and overcome barriers to learning and gain the confidence to be independent, positive learners.

Welcome from the Head

At Moon Hall School Reigate we have just celebrated our schools most amazing results!
Our wonderful year 11’s have now all went onto their first choice destinations and we thank them for all of their hard work. The success of our GCSE’s was greatly enhanced through the superb academic and pastoral support from our staff. The balance between providing a nurturing environment that supports our dyslexic pupils whilst also providing that essential academic rigour has been displayed through these phenomenal GCSE achievements. I can confidently say that our pupils leave here, happy, independent and motivated pupils, equipped to take on those future challenges using the skills that they have embedded here.

In many of our subjects we had 100% pass rate at GCSE. We use 5 different exam boards and offer a variety of GCSE’s and BTEC awards- all for the same purpose of ensuring that we are getting it right for every child.

We encourage our pupils not to be afraid of the fact that they have Dyslexia, but instead to embrace their wonderful and often creative way of thinking things through. We understand that for some of them school will be tough yet by providing support we ensure that all of our pupils will achieve their best during their time here at Moon Hall. We invest heavily in ensuring that our staff are well trained in how to meet the needs of our pupils and focus on staying up to date with research and advancements in teaching Dyslexic and Dyscalculic pupils.

The school has been through a period of transformation, not only through investment into our wonderful Grade II listed building but also through me taking on the Executive Headship for the Trust. I would welcome all parents interested about finding out for themselves what Moon Hall can offer their child to get in touch, and to come see the fantastic opportunities we can provide.
I am passionate about ensuring that every child has access to a good education and recently my views were included in a report from the British Dyslexic Association, which you will find below to read. I will be attending parliament to share my view on Education with MP’s and I would kindly ask you to follow the school on twitter for updates.
Please do contact admissions@moonhallcollege.co.uk for a visit and tour and I look forward to welcoming you to our wonderful school.

Kind regards
